Above and Beyond a Credential

As a Colorado Certified Appraiser the credential is a launch pad to the valuation profession. Like many professions continuing education is required to maintain a state certification and continue to demonstrate competency in a field.

As a professional appraiser, I also contribute to and participate in other professional organizations to enhance my experience, education and professional network.

Clients that I work with appreciate that my experience from:

  • Completed continuing education courses in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), Best Practices for Completing Bifurcated and Hybrid Appraisals, FHA Appraisal Updates, Fair Housing, Bias and Discrimination and Appraisal Disputes, Reconsideration of Values (ROVs) and Implicit Bias.

  • Attended the 2024 Appraiser's Conference and Trade Show in Colorado Springs, CO.

  • Attend and present at Realtor Education courses, Appraiser Education courses and online forums, office meetings, and lunch and learn presentations.

  • Maintain my credentials as a Certified Residential Appraiser in Colorado and look for ways to enhance my credentials.

  • Worked in the public service sector for nearly a decade and enhanced my knowledge of local zoning codes, building permitting, Parks and Recreation programs and the impact on the residential real estate market.
